4/6/2020 Cambridge and Boston: Today I went out on my third trip to document the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic on the Metro Boston area. I biked through various places of Cambridge and Boston, and on my way I stopped at Harvard Square, Harvard University, Central Square, biked along the Charles River, and found my way to Boston to pay a visit to Mass General Hospital to see what was happening there. I saw a few familiar faces, and also saw how the main entrance to the hospital had changed. It was cordoned off and many ambulances were parked and ready for deployment. During my 5-10 minutes of stay I saw about 5 ambulances come in. This is not a norm for MGH. Another observation that I made was in regards to people that I saw both at Harvard and Central Squares. Most of the people looked to be homeless. All benches were taken, and thankfully the weather was nice, so that they didn't have to suffer. For the first time I saw more visible signs that the city was grappling with the pandemic.
